Dr. Marcelo Brito
Marcelo Brito, MD, is a family medicine physician providing high-quality medical care to adults and children at Lakepointe Primary Care in Lewisville, Texas.
Dr. Brito takes an empathetic approach to care, carefully listening to their concerns and customizing treatment plans to their needs.
Dr. Brito has a passion for preventive medicine and the management of endocrine and metabolic disorders. He is known for going above and beyond to help his patients reach their wellness goals and reach and maintain their health.
Dr. Brito earned his medical degree at the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador in San Salvador. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Rockford, Illinois.
When he’s not attending to his patients, Dr. Brito stays fit by hiking, playing soccer, and kayaking. He also enjoys spending quality time with his children and supporting the local community.

Esmeralda Scott, FNP
Esmeralda Scott is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Originally from California, she recently relocated to Texas and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her patients.
Esmeralda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt College in 2002 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Fresno Pacific University in 2020. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Esmeralda is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to provide personalized care to a diverse patient population. She is committed to helping her patients achieve their health goals through education, preventive care, and compassionate treatment.
